Summer Select/Travel Preregistration

The next two weeks, the Select/Travel program is holding their Summer season tryouts. Please click HERE to see the tryouts schedule

You must attend at least ONE tryout to be considered for a team. (although the more tryouts you attend, the more our coaches can see of you)

If you plan on attending tryouts, PLEASE Preregister your child.  Click HERE to preregister.  This way, the coaches know who to expect and you WILL NOT need to sign up at the door.  This saves time at the beginning of the tryout, and we can get information to you quickly (about gym location changes, cancellations, etc)

The summer house league registration will be opening soon. A separate email will be sent with the summer house registration information.

Burke Basketball Spring Rules Posted

The rule for the upcoming Spring season have been posted and can be found here.

Note that the only major change from Winter is as follows:

7.3  Participation Requirements:

  1. ALL players MUST play a minimum of one (1) uninterrupted quarter per game
  2. If a team has seven (7) or more eligible players, then each player MUST also sit out one (1) uninterrupted quarter per game

Note that this rule change has been implemented since some Spring rosters have as many as 10 players. Coaches are still responsible for equalizing playing time as much as possible (consistent with the requirements of the rules).

Have a great season!
